Reflection and journaling

The Method

The PLAY Framework on Retreat

The PLAY Framework is at the heart of everything we do at Wise Life. On retreat, each pillar gets dedicated time and attention that simply isn't possible in a one-hour coaching session.

The result is deeper work, faster clarity, and the kind of insight that only comes from stepping outside your normal routine.

Every retreat follows the same structure: we move through each pillar over the course of the retreat, with mornings dedicated to focused group and individual work, and afternoons free for reflection, exploration, and rest. The final day brings it all together into a personal action plan you take home with you.

Four Pillars, Brought to Life

P

Purpose

On retreat, we have the space to look at purpose properly. Away from the noise of daily life, patterns become visible. You can see what’s been driving you, what’s been draining you, and where the energy actually wants to go.

L

Liberation

There is something powerful about doing liberation work in a group. The scripts that have been running your life lose their power when you say them out loud to women who recognise every word. This is where retreats excel.

A

Authenticity

Being yourself is easier when you’re not surrounded by people who expect the performance. The retreat environment gives you permission to drop the mask and discover who is underneath it.

Y

You

Self-care in a retreat context means more than bubble baths. It means learning to prioritise your strength, your rest, your boundaries, and your financial independence. The practical pillar that future-proofs everything else.

+ Playfulness

Playfulness runs through every retreat. It keeps the work from becoming heavy. It is the curiosity, the willingness to experiment, the laughter at dinner, and the freedom to say “I don't know yet” without panic. Without it, transformation becomes another joyless slog. With it, change becomes something you actually want to continue.
